For any question about your data, write to info@astranord.com or call +49 (30) 263 727 84.
This website is hosted by Wix.com Ltd., Nemal Tel Aviv St. 40, Tel Aviv, Israel. When you visit, the hosting servers process technical data your browser sends, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request, to deliver the site securely and keep it stable. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Israel is recognised by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of data protection, and Wix processes data on our behalf under a data processing agreement.
When you send an enquiry through the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message, and, if you choose to give them, your company, telephone number and the type of project. We use this information only to answer you and to prepare and carry out any project we discuss. The legal basis is the steps you request before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The form is processed through Wix Forms. We keep enquiries for as long as the conversation or project requires, and then delete them unless the law obliges us to keep them longer.
The same applies when you write to us by email or call us.
If you subscribe to The Journal, we store your email address and your consent, so that we can send you occasional letters from the yard. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time, without giving a reason, by writing to info@astranord.com or by using the unsubscribe link in any letter. We then delete your address from the list.
Some pages of this website are private and open only with a personal access code that we send by email. When such a page is opened, we record which code was used, the time, and the general type of device, browser, language and time zone. We do not record your IP address. We use this only to know which of our invited partners has read the page. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in managing private invitations (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The record is processed through Wix Forms and deleted when it is no longer needed.
To send the contact and Journal forms securely, this website keeps a small, anonymous visitor key in your browser’s local storage. It contains no personal details. This is technically necessary for the forms to work (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; § 25(2) TDDDG). We set no advertising or measurement cookies unless you allow them. With your consent we load Metricool, a measurement service of Metricool SL, Spain, which counts which pages visitors reach and where they arrived from; it sets cookies on your device and processes within the EU. With the same consent we load the Google Ads tag of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, which records whether a visit from one of our Google ads leads to an enquiry; data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA, which is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is your consent (§ 25 (1) TDDDG, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). If you decline, nothing is loaded and nothing is set, and the website works in full either way. You can change your mind at any time with effect for the future, through Cookie settings at the foot of any page. Your choice is remembered in your browser’s local storage and never leaves your device.
The typefaces on this website are loaded from Bunny Fonts, a privacy-focused font service of BunnyWay d.o.o., Cesta komandanta Staše 4, 1215 Medvode, Slovenia, which serves fonts from within the EU and does not log visitors’ personal data. Images and films are delivered from the content servers of our hosting provider Wix. To do this, your browser connects to those servers, which see your IP address. No connection is made to Google Fonts. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a consistent and fast presentation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We share your data only with the service providers named here, who process it on our behalf, and otherwise only where the law requires it. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
You have the right to access the data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to object to processing based on our legitimate interests (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future.
You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority. Ours is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit), Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin.
We update this policy when our website or the law changes. The current version is always available on this page.

This website sets nothing of its own accord. With your consent we count which pages visitors reach, where they arrived from and whether our Google ads lead to an enquiry, so we can see what is useful. It is optional, and the site works the same either way. How we handle data.
